Freeman Ranch

Freeman Ranch is one of those few places that has it all!! A beautiful two-story wood framed house with lots of porches overlooks a 30 +/- acre lake. Over 5.6 miles of live-water and seasonal creeks flow throughout the 1,200-acre recreational property creating a mecca for hunting and fishing opportunities for the avid outdoorsman. Approximately 50% open native pastureland, compared to 50% in native stands of hardwoods, cedars and other stands of brush. Elevation changes of approximately 150′ from high to low allow for tremendous distant views overlooking meadows and creeks between ridge tops. 

This ranch is extremely blessed with amazing water! Doaksville Creek is the main tributary that flows through the ranch for approximately 1.35 miles yielding 2.7 miles of frontage when you include both sides. Additionally, there are nine unnamed seasonal creeks that meander throughout the ranch totaling an amazing 4.25 +/- miles. Many of these pool water all year long providing easy water sources for the abundant wildlife population that resides on the ranch. The lake is currently being managed for largemouth bass with a healthy supply of baitfish to support. Additionally, there are 8 ponds scattered around the ranch for watering cows or other livestock.
