About Steve Faber
Steve was born and raised in Tyler, TX in the heart of the Pineywoods region of East Texas. After graduating John Tyler H.S. in 1968, Steve attended college at Tyler Jr. and Texas A&M before graduating from Sam Houston State in 1972 with a B.A. in Agricultural Education. After serving in the USAF and US Army, Steve taught Ag classes for one year at Chapel Hill and another four years at Tyler J.C. Shortly after, he moved to Colorado where he attained his Real Estate license in 1978 before becoming a broker in 1996. Steve spent most of 34 years in Southern Colorado, buying, developing and selling mountain ranches with several partners. Currently, Steve is a licensed broker in Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas and serves as a Manager/Mentor/Trainer for No Fences Land Company.
Steve currently resides near Weatherford, TX with his wife of 51 years, Suzanne. They have three grown children, (a stay at home mom, an international school teacher and an architect intern), an adopted son, (a chief of the Jicarilla Apache tribe of Dulce, NM), two son-in-laws, a daughter-in-law and 9 grandchildren. Steve and his wife attend Weatherford Presbyterian Church(PCA). Steve leads a men’s Bible study called “Ministry in the Marketplace” at the NFLC office every Monday from 7-8 am.
